‍ June 2026 Down Syndrome and Sleep Research Network Conference - register now!

Following last year’s successful inaugural conference where the Down Syndrome and Sleep Research Network was launched, we are delighted to open registration for our second conference. We look forward to bringing together many old and new participants in the area of sleep research in the Down syndrome community. This upcoming DSSRN in-person conference will take place from 10am - 4pm on Monday 1st June 2026, at the Surrey Sleep Research Centre.

Our event will focus on the latest research and advancements in sleep disorders for individuals with Down syndrome. The day will include guest speakers, a tour of the facilities at the Research Centre, and interactive workshops. Building on last year’s presentation by Dr Stephanie Brown from the research team at the University of Cambridge, Dr Shahid Zaman (Assistant Professor) will present on work with The Alzheimer Biomarkers Consortium-Down Syndrome (ABC-DS).

Whether you’re a researcher, healthcare professional, or sleep or DS focused charity, we invite you to join us in advancing the field of DS and sleep research. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of individuals with Down syndrome by addressing one of their most critical needs: sleep. This will be a great opportunity to continue the conversation, share knowledge, and connect with others working in this field.
